THE DESIGNER KNOWN AS REMI LAGOS HAS PASSED ON.

The designer with the most infectious smile is gone.She was known as Remi Lagos.  Her last outing at the Africa Fashion Week London was so good we all gave her a standing ovation.However,i remember back in the days we all wanted a piece of Remi Lagos.Remi God bless you .I leave you with some of her designs and images.

He came and he conquered.David the delta born Nigerian top male model was a hit at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa.He closed the show for Projectal Mental and with bible in his hand he made it superb finale.David was admired by  his counterpart from other countries as evidenced by the number of friends he made at the event.The producers also loved him and Johannesburg awaits him again for next season.I leave you with images of David the young man that i admire so much.The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa was most definitely one  the biggest fashion week that i have attended anywhere in this world .

Is Flaviana all the way.This very young girl who was the first ever Miss Universe Tanzania ,has captured the hearts of many around the world.She has in a short period of her modeling career ,set up foundations and raised so much money for charities in her homeland. This young girl is ever ready to help models from around Africa. The beautiful Architect  Fifi Ejindu of STARCREST GROUP has thrown her weight behind Africa's biggest model search Nigeria's Next Super Model 2012.A fashion Icon, Fifi was one of Africa's Fahion Icon nominee at Africa's most prestigious and biggest fashion week Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa.

Her company STARCREST GROUP is official sponsor of Nigeria's Next Super Model.Fifi a known philanthropist is both beauty and brain.An architect of high repute she is well respected at home and abroad.We at fashionnet work africa salute this woman of honour and a fashion icon.

DEOLA SAGOE RAISES THE BAR ONE MORE TIME AT THE MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK AFRICA.

The iconic Deola Sagoe of Nigeria raised the bar one more time at the prestigious Mercedes Benz fashion week Africa.She held the audience spellbound, and at a time audience thought it was a lace affair only to realised that one of Nigeria's native fabric has been made into a Deola Sagoe's called lacsk.Deola who has been in the fashion industry for twenty five years,showed the world why she is known as Nigeria's foremost designer.
I leave you with Deola's designs at Africa's most prestigious fashion week.However, in a way of celebrating African models Deola used top models from Tanzania,Namibia,South Africa,Ivory Coast,Ghana,Sudan and six Nigerian top models.Bunmi Ademokoya had three looks and opened the show with an asoke lace white bridal gown and closed it with yet another of Deola's master piece the peach  haute couture dress that was just amazing.
Moreover,in  Deola's way of saying i am proud of my heritage and paying homage to those who make the asoke cloth she has continually promoted this cloth and it has become the people choice of fabric for high profile parties in her home country.We at fashion net work africa salute this great woman of Africa.

To end the show she came out with one of Nigeria's best Ifeoma Williams and her daughter and again she brought class to the closing of the curtain.
