As the
fashion world enters into its quietest phase of the year, there are
still plenty of events to look forward to outside the fashion capitals
including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town and Lakmé Fashion Week in India.
The inaugural Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town includes a line-up of South Africa's leading fashion designers,
with the theme of "icons" to represent the various aspects of the South
African design aesthetic ranging from timeless elegance to sporty
minimalism.
