AJU GLOBA MEDIA PRESENT: ZAFAA AWARD 2011- NOMINATION CEREMONY

For the first time in the history of ZAFAA Award, a nominee ceremony was organised.The event  took place at the prestigeous Niteshift Club at the COLISEUM Opebi Ikeja,Lagos.
ZAFAA is an annual event which is targeted at given Award for outstanding performance in various sphere in the Entertainment Industry.
Notable Actors and Actresses at the event are: Bob-Manuel Udokwu,Zack, Rita Edochie, Victor Osuagwu, Mike Ademilokan(Produce) and Wife (Dorris Simeon), Chiwetala Agwu, Monabo, Ejike Asiegbu e.t.c.
Guest were thrilled with various showcase of Artistic performances from the likes of Princess and Harry Song with a combination of up-coming Artiste.
Nigerian-American, Aju Elumelu, an international Artiste was the MC of the day.
ZAFAA Award proper will come up in the Month of October in the Uk.

AFW Johannesburg 2011 will run between 19th through 23rd October.Isis Models is looking forward to the show and Fashion Network Africa will be there to cover the event.

Bunmi Ademokoya and Aisha Bello both of Isis Models products of Nigeria’s Next Super model are among the Africa’s top model invited for the prestigious Cape Town fashion week.

Bunmi who opened Africa’s Fashion Week in Johannesburg last year also opened the prestigious BET RIP THE RUNWAY SHOW in New York 20011 March.

Aisha debuts at Cape town Fashion Week while Bunmi is in her 3^rd season.

Bunmi wore this shoe by Christian Louboutin at BET RIP THE RUNWAY 2011 in New York.

Isis Models has become very relevant in and outside Africa. They are both looking forward to New York and Europe this season.

Bunmi will be in Turkey this year for a shoot with a top Magazine .Last year she was a judge at the best model of the world 2010 and also crowned the winner another African from Guinea.

The third edition of women on wellness took place at the prestigueous Federal palace hotel,Victoria Island,Lagos. It was a gathering of creame de la creame of the society. Amogst people in the corridor of power that graced the occassion were the first lady of Lagos State,Mrs.Bimbola Fashola, Mrs.Abba folawiyo, First lady of Ondo State,Mrs.Olufunke Mimiko, Erelu Dosunmu, Sentor Oluremi Tinubu, Senator Abika Dabiri.
Also, fashion designers were not left out as they trilled guest with fire works of their recent collections.
Designers at the event were: MONAMI, HOUSE OF JOLA, LA BENDELLE, VIVISGIRLS and IMOLS DESIGNS.
Also, Olumide Dada, Beejay Sax And Aju Elumelu made the night soothing with scintilating melodies that have the tendencies of dowsing down tensions.
Media houses were also on stand-by to ensure that all the scenes were captured.Amongst media houses at the event were Silver bird, Channels and ofcourse FashionNetork Africa covered it live through web streaming.
The center of attraction was the exhibitions of various craft work from designers. Thanks to top super model, Biola Boris the amiable fashion producer for her good work bringing excellence to the fashion show.

MS NNAJI SIMPLY ROCKS.

Genevieve Nnaji started her acting career as a child actress in the then-popular television soap opera “Ripples” at the age of 8. She was also featured in several commercials, some of which included Pronto beverage and Omo detergent. In 1998, at the age of 19, she made her debut in the growing Nigerian film industry with the movie “Most Wanted.” As an upcoming actress, trying to create a niche for herself, she went through various minor roles seeking for that opportunity for a breakthrough.
Her subsequent movies–”Last Party,” “Mark of the Beast,” and “Ijele” (which is still considered to be one of her best epic performances to date)–brought forth an icon to be loved and adored by many.
Her name became a household name and her image the desire of every young girl. In 2002, she starred in the movie Sharon Stone (2002) (V), and her fame shot beyond the shores of Nigeria to the rest of Africa and several European countries. One can say that through the buzz, Genevieve reinvented the Nigerian film Industry, introducing Nollywood to the rest of the world.
